Committee of the Regions consultation on EU rules for cross-border cooperation

The Committee of the Regions, jointly with the European Commission, the EU Council presidency “trio” and the Interact Programme, has launched the consultation on the review of the regulation on the European Group of Territorial Cooperation. The consultation formally kicked off with a conference in Cáceres, Spain, last 3 May and will remain open for contributions until 20 July. Its results will feed into the review of the relevant EU legislation, which is scheduled for early 2011.
