Culture Programme Strand 1.2.1 Cooperation measures (03/10/2012) – Migratory birds

Project summary: The project aims to analyse the perception of the landscape by people living in regions in which migratory birds are a relevant element of their landscape and heritage. This will be used to reflect on the collective memory and cultural identity of these regions, as well as to establish cultural links with other European communities for which migratory birds are part of their natural and also immaterial cultural heritage.

Partners:

  • Cultural creation and/or cultural life

Geographical area: Regions with relevant population of migratory birds on the East Atlantic Flyway migration route: Iceland, Norway, Ireland, United Kingdom, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain or Portugal. Regions with wetlands or marshlands are especially welcome.
