Diputación de Valencia will host an international debate on Energy efficiency and the role of Local Intermediate Government within this issue. The participants will attend this seminar, organized in the framework of Partenalia, in order to discuss new strategies and trends to foster Energy efficiency in their territories.
The event will be open by Mr Alfonso Rus, the President of Provincial Council of Valencia being the key speakers Mr Juan Manuel Viescas, General Director of European funds and projects of the Regional Government of Valencia and Mrs Elodie Bossio, Member at Covenant of Mayors office and Project Manager at Federation of Local and Regional Energy Agencies (Fedarene), both organizations located in Brussels.
Partenalia will reinforce the commitment of its members with Energy efficiency and promote the discussion, guided by the representatives from Spain, Italy and France, about the current and future role of the Local Intermediate Authorities in this field in order to improve the local policies.
Several good practices will be presented by experts among them from Belgium, Croatia and Romania.
An overview of the next programming period (2014-2020) in the field of Energy will be also presented, in order to find where the funding opportunities for the Local and Intermediate Governments in Europe in this field are.
