New European Project Approved for Partenalia

The project “IGTraining” Training to Train – Intergenerational Transfer of Knowledge on the workplace has been approved by the European Commission.

The project will be funded under the programme “Long Life Learning – Grundtvig Multilateral”.  IT brings together partners from Austria (leader), Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal, Turkey and Belgium.

The general objective of IGTraining is to improve the training skills of the employees 50+. It includes the development of a train-the-trainer course. The results and evaluation of this course will be used to develop good practice case-studies to be able to promote the idea of more structured intergenerational learning at the workplace, convincing the employers of the value of their experienced staff.  The project will contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy, promoting the increase of the employment rate and the inclusion in life-long learning of the population aged 20-64.

Details about the project can be found online in its website – http://igtrain.eu.

Partenalia will be in charge of the dissemination of the project.
