From the 6th to the 9th October will take place in Brussels the sixth edition of the Open Days. This year the European Week of Regions and Cities will turn around the thematic “”Regions and cities in a challenging world”. The inscription ON-LINE to the more of 100 seminars organized during the Open Days stars the 9th July. It is recommended to get inscribed as soon as possible because the seminars have limited seats.
For the second year, Barcelona Provincial Council leads a project called “Attractive Cities: Strategies to Succeed” with Barcelona Activa, the city of Berlin, Lodz (Poland), Dublin, Riga, Sarajevo Canton and the region of Stockholm. This conglomerate organises 2 seminars:
1) How local authorities manage ERDF to improve innovation and competitiveness. Code 07A17. When? The 7th October from 14.30 to 16.15 at the Delegation of the Catalan Government for the EU in Brussels. This seminar will present tho best practices of Lodz, the Province of Barcelona, Riga and DG REGIO.
2) Brain Drain prevention and talent attraction. Code 08A30. Where? The 8th October from 10h to 12.30 at the Delegation of the Catalan Government for the EU in Brussels. This seminar will show 6 policies in this field: the one of Barcelona Activa, Berlin, Province of Barcelona, Riga, Sarajevo Canton and Berlin.
