The prestigious Democracia y Gobierno Local journal published an extensive article with Partenalia as the protagonist- under its international section-. This is a quarterly specialized journal promoted by the Foundation that has the same name, and it is addressed to Municipalities and Local Intermediate Authorities (LIAs) in Spain.
In the publication, Mr. Javier Moliner- President of Partenalia- calls for democratic legitimacy, which entitles the LIAs to decide, by prioritizing particular policies and benefits over others.
In this regard, Mr. Moliner recapped on the main actions rolled out by Partenalia in order to improve the democratic quality of the participating governments in the Association, such as the signing of the Charter for Multi-level Governance at the Committee of the Regions (CoR) held in Brussels, or the Declaration on Good Governance approved at the last Political Council that took place last October in Peñíscola (Castellón), Spain.
