In the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2009, Barcelona Provincial Council organised a debate around the added value of territorial cooperation and of participating in European Networks. In this sense, Barcelona Provincial Council shared their points of view with representatives from Lodz (Poland), Varna (Bulgaria), Dublin (Ireland) and Provincia di Mantova (Italy). CG de la Seine-Saint-Denis took advantage of the debate to present the advantages of taking part in Partenalia from a lobbying and project development perspectives.
From their side, Badajoz and Cáceres Provincial Council, under the Conglomerate “Local Intermediate Authorities acting for Europe” presented the measures taken by their administrations to fight against financial crisis and how the fact of participating in European Networks can increase the effectiveness of those measures.
