Partenalia- the European Association of Local Intermediate Governments-, together with the Innovation Club (Diputación de Castellón) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMPL) promotes the 1st National Summit for Administrations providing services in the various municipalities and territories. Through the incorporation of technological innovation, they all are able to be more useful and transparent, as well as open to the citizen participation.
At the Summit, there are more than 50 institutions convened to attend a forum where the Intermediate Governments of Spain may pool best practices on the modernisation of work processes, which have enabled municipalities to provide better services.
Thus, among the thematic issues to be raised in this meeting- which programme of presentations and round-table meetings is being tailored-, the event debates the challenge of achieving transparency and good governance, in which Partenalia has been working for some time.
The implementation of innovation on the Online Administration will be a major topic, which will mean a great step forward in delivering services to citizens.
