The President of Partenalia, Mr. Javier Moliner, presided this afternoon the board of directors of the European association in Brussels, after inaugurating the new office at the Maison du Luxembourg, close to the European Parliament.
In this meeting the board of directors has reviewed and approved the agenda of the Summit, driven by Partenalia, which will take place next 1st December in the Belgian capital, and to be held in the Committee of the Regions.
The President, Javier Moliner, stressed the importance of the meeting next December, the most prominent event driven by the institution since its creation, at a strategic moment for the European Union, with a newly opened office, after elections to the European Parliament last May, and a new European Commission. He also stressed the strategic importance of this event for local institutions in order to ensure the effective implementation of the EU policies.
Partenalia projects
The Managing Board has conducted a brief review of the projects developed in Partenalia currently, such as IGTrain and Aqua, and others. The President has welcomed too the new trainees who have joined the association this fall, one of the County Council of Valencia and two other from the County Council of Castellón.
The President Moliner, in this sense, has stressed his commitment to promote the visibility of the institution and increase its capacity.
President’s agenda
Tomorrow, October 7th, President Moliner, will meet the President of the Committee of the Regions, Mr Michel Lebrun, and some other members of Europeans institutions. He will invite them to the Summit personally.
