The Walloon Brabant is located in the immediate outskirts of Brussels, the heart of Europe.
Theatre of the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 and host of the UCL (Catholic University of Louvain), the Walloon Brabant enjoys an international renown, between history and future.
The Walloon Brabant is one of the regions of Europe where the word “innovation” makes sense.
Keen to boost its economy, it enjoys an image of quality thanks to a large tank of highly skilled workforce at its disposal, and its business parks.
The Walloon Brabant supports its companies to export in collaboration with AWEX (Walloon Export Agency) and the Chamber of Commerce, or giving the opportunity to young business leaders to take part in the G20-Y Summit enabling them to exchange ideas and good practices with business leaders worldwide.
The Walloon Brabant also seeks to highlight its young entrepreneurs by organizing prizes, as the “Incidences” Awards, recognizing excellence of a company in sustainable development.
But still, the Walloon Brabant feeds economic development through the financial aid granted to all economic actors and organizing several times a year meetings between project sponsors and potential financial partners.
