The Committee of the Regions is drafting an opinion on the Commission Communication “The Mid-term review of the LIFE+ Regulation” COM (2010) 516 final. The Rapporteur on the opinion, Mrs Daiva Matonienė (LT/EA), Member of the ENVE Commission of the CoR and Member of Šiauliai City Council, together with her expert, Mr Arunas Grazulis are coming to Brussels on the 18th of March in order to meet with representatives of the associations of local and regional authorities and other stakeholders for an exchange of views on her opinion. The outcome of this consultation will feed into the impact assessment of the future LIFE+ programme, currently under preparation by the European Commission.
