Successful participation at the I Edition of the Innovation Forum for Local Intermediate Authorities

Successful participation at the I Edition of the Innovation Forum for Local Intermediate Authorities (LIAs) held on Nov. 19 at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) in Madrid. Partenalia, the Innovation Club and the Diputación de Castellón were the major drivers of this event. Furthermore, Partenalia had the opportunity to stand (link) as a benchmark association for the development of proposals aimed at achieving more efficient and transparent administrations, and that aroused the interest of the administrations attending the Forum.

The I Innovation Forum was attended by more than 50 institutions, and 17 of them were actively involved as part of the debates and round tables. Mr. Manuel Baltar- President of the Diputación de Ourense-, was one of the main participants and claimed that: “every municipality should be at the cutting-edge of technology in terms of administrative management, regardless of the number of its inhabitants”.

Moreover, Mr. Javier Moliner- President of Partenalia-, reminded the importance of humanizing relations between administrations and their citizens.

In addition, a collaboration agreement with Partenalia was approved by the Fundación Democracia y Gobierno Local (FDGL) at its Meeting held on Nov. 19 in Barcelona. FDGL is a non-profit organisation established to contribute and provide support to actions and initiatives undertaken at local level.
