The DG Environment launched a consultation on a road map for a resource-efficient Europe

The European Commission is preparing a Roadmap for a resource-efficient Europe as part of the resource-efficient Europe Flagship Initiative of the Europe 2020 Strategy. The purpose of this consultation is to collect the views of businesses, other stakeholders and the public at large on policy options for the Roadmap.

The European Commission is interested in informed opinions on the current situation (existing opportunities and main barriers to more efficient use of natural resources) and on the potential effectiveness of public policy tools in achieving a Resource Efficient Europe.
